Project Description

KIMI in the Coptic language means Egypt. His Holiness Pope Tawadros named the project. Giving it a Coptic Egyptian name, through which the Church will serve the entire Egyptian community. Egypt is in need for enhancement in the medical field. Its not a matter of building hospitals but rather providing the high standards of health services
In order to have an integrated academy it must have a hospital where practical training will take place.
We have successfully completed the building of KIMI medical academy and adjacent to it is the land where the hospital will be built. KIMI medical academy will start operation in November 2019 in partnership with the Royal College of England. Our next phase is the construction and furnishing of the hospital which is necessary for the academy but also will serve the area which is currently under development and has very few health services.

– Aim of the project

Building a new hospital connected to an exciting academy fulfills the aim of the project so as to establish an integrated facility for teaching and training.

This will be achieved by using KIMI academy in delivering lectures, workshops and training programs in skill lab. to all candidates of the medical staff members ( Doctors , Nurses , Technicians , Administrative personal , ect. ) together with implementing the academic part by onsite training in KIMI hospital.

The project will build up leaders and Cadres to fulfill the increasing demands in the Governmental Health and the private sector Hospitals They will be also collaborate in the newly establish National Health Insurance program which is a strategic target for our Government over 5 years plane to cover all Egyptian Citizen in all over the country.

All the courses will be conducted and supervised and acknowledged by The Royal college of England, Nursing collage of the University of Sheffield, Ain shams and Cairo University and from the Egyptian Doctors Training Authority.

– Project Objective

KIMI Academy & Hospital will operate with the following objectives:

• The Academy will contribute to the improvement of the health care sector in Egypt, the relief of Sickness and the preservation of good health
• Increase the range ofhealth services at El Obour City to meet the area’s increasing demand for high quality health services provided at moderate cost
• Provide a safe and therapeutic environment for all patient, staff and visitors
• Increase overall satisfaction rates of patients
• Maintain high curable rates with less waiting time with the least cost
